The new Apple AirPods 4 is expected to roll out next week. Apple will be releasing two versions of the AirPods 4. The first variant will be in an affordable range with fewer exclusive features. The second variant, however, will be more expensive than the first variant which additional features will accompany. It has been stipulated that the cheaper version of the AirPods 4 is being created in order to replace the existing model of the AirPods 2. The second version is expected to replace AirPods 3.

There wouldn’t be any stark difference in terms of the visible representation of both models but the range of features will vary. The expensive version of AirPods 4 is expected to have the feature of high-scale noise cancellation, which was earlier limited to the even more expensive AirPods Pro and Airpod Max. A possibility of the transparancy mode to be incorporated has been declared but not confirmed. It can be expected that the premium AirPods 4 will have Magsafe qualities with its case. It has also been suggested that the case might contain a built in speaker for the better functioning of Find My Device support.

The two versions will also include a USB-C charging point, which marks a major milestone in Apple’s journey to transfer its entire product line to USB-C. Both will also use Lightning C for their cases. The new AirPods 4 models are expected to look almost identical with little difference in appearance and more in features. The new design is expected to be a combination of both the AiirPods 3 and AirPods Pro. It will have a shorter- stem look which is now very evident in modern AirPods.

Mostly when Apple releases a new version of an existing, it adopts the same price as its previous model/ models. Since the new AirPods 4 with two versions will be replacing AirPods 2 and AirPods3 respectively, a comparison of prices becomes necessary. AirPods 2 retail for $129, while AirPods 3 sell for $169 and $179. The higher AirPods 3 price is with a MagSafe charging case.

The prices for the new AirPods 4, however, have not been revealed but it can be expected that the AirPods 4 should start around $129, or around $149. The more premium AirPods 4 which is supposed to be equipped with noise cancellation, transparency mode, and a better charging case is expected to be in the $179 price range for the benefit of additional features. The debut of the AirPods 4 models is expected to take place at its September 9 event.

Even if it’s not released on the 9th, the AirPods should arrive within the first few weeks of September. The AirPods 4 comes with an array of new features while keeping affordability in mind. The USB-C charging point is also a revolutionary change keeping the needs of the consumers in mind. Therefore, a new revelation awaits us, in just a matter of a few days!
