Apple on October 8 updated its App Store Connect for iOS, and the update adds some new great features for the developers. The App Store Connect is the place for the app developers where they can manage their iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS apps.
Through the App Store Connect, the developers can obviously manage their apps available on the various iOS platforms; more than that, the developers could also send new apps to the App Store, upload screenshots, change the app description, read users’ reviews, and much more.
Developers can now configure and manage TestFlight apps directly on their iPhone and iPad via the App Store Connect app.
The 1.5 update brings a new icon that represents users’ design language from macOS Big Sur. The new design comes with more complex designs aimed to make the Connect app easier to use, and it will also make it easily accessible.
The new update lets the developers set up and manage TestFlight apps right from their iPhone and iPad through the App Store Connect app. Moreover, the TestFlight app setup process ensures that the developers now do not need to access the App Store Connect website to manage their beta apps. The developers will also be able to add up to 100 members of their team to test the beta apps, other than editing app details and removing builds.
The full set of details for the Version 1.5 includes: setting up internal TestFlight beta testing; adding up to 100 members of their team; editing test details for beta builds, viewing build activity and status, and expire builds; answering required export compliance questions; removing internal testers.
The App Store Connect for iOS is available for free download on the App Store. It requires an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad running iOS 12 or later.
