One of the innovations that Apple introduced recently was Apple Arcade. In short, Apple Arcade is a subscription service through which users can access about 100 exclusive iOS payment games without micropayments, advertising or internet connection. We still do not know the prices, but it will arrive at the end of the year for all the Apple ecosystem devices.
That, of course, includes the Apple TV 4K. Apple Arcade subscribers can play the games included in the TV; as revealed by Tim Cook during WWDC 2019, we have learned that this device will connect the controls of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It has not revealed the operation or how these controls will be connected, but since the Apple TV 4K has Bluetooth connection and USB ports, it is possible that both options can be used.
The launch of Apple Arcade is expected for autumn and we still do not know its price and catalog of games. The update will arrive in the autumn of this year, just when we await the launch of Apple Arcade. In this way, Apple goes a step further and makes its video game streaming service more attractive, especially for users who already have a console and do not want to buy an additional remote.
We do not know any detail of the catalog or the price. However, at the time, studios such as Annapurna Interactive, Bossa Studios, Cartoon Network, Finji, Giant Squid, Klei Entertainment, Konami, LEGO, Mistwalker Corporation or SEGA would have their games on the platform. It will be a matter of time to leave doubts.
