Apple is very rigid when it comes to the terms and policies regarding the safety of its users. Recently the sources from the tech world gave us one more piece of news, which is rumored to be regarding Apple’s stringent policies. The sources published officially suggest that Apple has recently blocked the Steam, which had plans to extend its gaming app free for Apple iPhone and iPad users.

Steam is known to be the leading online store for downloading games played on Windows PCs. Valve Corp communicated through its reports that the company had plans to release a free mobile phone app called Steam link for Apple users. This app was intended for PC gamers who continue their game when they are away from their desktop machine.
Apple rejected the app and blocked its release. The exact reason behind this denial is not clearly known, but the insiders claim it to be a matter of some business conflicts with app guidelines. A Valve PR in his official email stated that Apple initially approved the app on May 7. The valve was further waiting to announce the Steam link app news until May 9, when they even had a release window targeted.
Valve submitted an appeal where it assured that the Steam link has similar functionality to multiple LAN-based remote desktop apps which already exist on the App Store. But Apple finally denied the appeal by blocking the release of Steam Link app.
This news may have disappointed many Steam users with iOS devices. The Steam Link app is available for Android users from Google Play Store. This app reached more than 100000 downloads after 3 days with a 4.3 to 5 ratings.
