Apple is all set to launch its new series of entry-level MacBook featuring Intel’s 14nm Kaby Lake processor in this year’s September’s product launch conference. Apart from unveiling the new notebook, Apple is also looking forward to releasing three new iPhones.

These new iPhones will feature a 5.8 inch OLED display, a 6.5 inch OLED display, and a 6.1 inch LCD display separately. The 6.1 inch LCD model is expected to be the most price-friendly, affordable and the mainstream device. The new MacBook Air is expected to be priced at US$ 1,200 which makes the model comparatively inexpensive.

This new MacBook will feature a 13-inch screen and originally was expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2017 but the launch was delayed due to some error on Intel’s part with its 10nm manufacturing process. Intel decided to wait until the second half of 2019 to begin manufacturing 10nm CPUs. As a result of which, Apple has switched the MacBook design to adopt processors based on improved 14nm Kaby Lake architecture. The manufacturer is expecting that they will be able to ship around eight million units of the new MacBook in 2018 and are hopeful that this will undermine the demand for first-tier competitors’ similar devices.

During the conference, Apple is also expected to launch a schedule for its wireless charger called AirPower for new iPhones. The price point for these new chargers will be around NT$ 5,000-6000 (US$161- 193). Along with these, Apple has also prepared two new iPad Pros. Both of this two new iPad will sport a 12.9 inch and 11-inch screen respectively.

The 11 inch iPad is set to take over the existing 10.5 inch iPad Pro. With the launch of two new iPads, the total number of iPads available in the channel will be four: the narrow bezel ultra-thin 12.9 inch and 11 inch iPad Pros, the 9.7 inch iPad and the 7.9 inches iPad mini 4. The two new iPad Pros will come with a newly-designed 18W power adapter featuring USB Type-C interface for a faster charging experience.
