Recently Apple did a wide investigation into Bloomberg’s China hack claims but got nothing except empty hands.
We tried to figure out if there was anything, anything that is even remotely close to this. – Senior Apple security executive
The security Engineer involved in the investigation stated, “We did not see a microchip resembling the component described in the Bloomberg.”
The chip supposedly designed by the Chinese Military said to act as a “stealth doorway onto any network” and offered long-term stealth access to the attached computer system.
“ I don’t know if something like this even exists, we were given nothing, No hardware, No chips, No emails,” said an unnamed Apple Engineer. An Apple executive, a senior member of the company’s legal team, stated, “ It had not been in contact with government, agencies purportedly investigating the matter”.
Apple and Amazon both issued a strong statement refusing all the claims just after few hours after Bloomberg’s report was published. Both sides have refused to stand down the issues, all the allegations can be disproven as Bloomberg has still not produced any conclusive evidence yet.
