Apple has released the much-awaited iPhone 12 mini yesterday. The new phone will come with a 5.4-inch display and this compact phone first saw itself released at the Hi, Speed event of Apple.
The A14 Bionic chipset will be seen in iPhone 12 mini and the 5.4-inch panel is an OLED with Super Retina XDR. This will come with a special Ceramic Shield glass cover on top. The chipset is made with a 5nm manufacturing process.
The CPU performance will increase by 40% and there will be 30% graphic improvement from what the older A13 Bionic chip offered. The Apple iPhone 12 mini will come with a dual-camera build that has a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera. There will also be another 12-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera bearing apertures of f/1.6 and f/2.4.
The phone will also come with a True Depth camera having an aperture of 2.2. The advanced bokeh and Depth Control feature in its portrait mode is worth mentioning. It can also record 4K video at 24 or 30 or 60 fps.
Apple’s new mini flagship will come in 3 models of 64GB/128GB/256GB, but nothing can be said about the RAM. For now, it can be guessed to be around 4GB of RAM.
The iPhone is not great with battery, but this mini device claims to provide video playback for up to 15 hours. The device will be working on iOS 14.
The lower-priced mini device will also have a MagSafe magnet to provide wireless charging using Qi-enabled devices whereas there will be cases for the same wireless charging.
Blue, Green, Black, White, and Red are its color options and will come for a price of US$699 or Rs 69,900. It shall be made available for possession from October 30.
