Two weeks ago the world’s one of the biggest online retail stores, Amazon made an agreement with Apple that it will sell more Apple products. Following this, a selection of Apple products is already available on Amazon in the United States. Some of the Apple products available on Amazon include the latest iPad Pro, Apple Watch Series 4, MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac Pro, and Mac mini models.
Apart from these gadgets and accessories such as Apple Watch bands, the Apple Pencil, Beats headphones, and Magic Mouse 2 are also already available on Amazon. However, some of the Apple products listed in Amazon are already out of stock due to the discounts put on the items by Amazon and due to their availability in limited quantities. However, the prices are almost consistent with Apple.com. There is a discount of $100 on the base model of MacBook and a $300 discount on the latest MacBook Pro. The new iPhones, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR are not available on Amazon yet but they are expected to be available soon as part of the agreement. However, there is one product that Amazon would not sell on their online store and that is the HomePod as it is considered to be the rival of Amazon Echo.
The previously listed old and new Apple products on Amazon will be removed from the website after 4th January 2019 as a part of the deal. These products were sold on Amazon via third-party resellers. The third-party resellers now need to apply to Apple to become Apple Authorized Resellers and only then they will be able to see their Apple products on Amazon.
The listing for the new Apple products has only been seen in the United States so far but Apple products are soon to appear on Amazon in France, and the sales agreement will extend to its storefronts in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, and India.
