The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has officially released a patent application from Apple that is about a potential Apple Pencil that could be created to receive and process broadcast signals which will be an essential addition to the Apple family with varied advantages.
An Apple Pencil which can be used with an iPad to provide input to the electronic device, can contain a battery within the stylus body, and a first antenna configured to receive a broadcast signal. The operating system might be designed to receive the broadcast signal from the first antenna and demodulate the broadcast signal to produce a digital content signal including the video content.
The first broadcast protocol can be an Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) broadcast protocol, the second broadcast protocol is stipulated to be a fifth-generation (5G) broadcast protocol, and the wireless communication protocol may be a Bluetooth communication protocol.
It has also been stipulated that the Apple Pencil can potentially have a communication system within the Apple Pencil body.
