After a recent public release of the third beta, Apple, on March 6, seeded the fourth beta of an upcoming watchOS 4.3 update to developers, which is practically two weeks after the release of the third beta and over two weeks after releasing watchOS 4.2.3 with minor bug fixes.
The new Apple watchOS 4.3 beta 4 could be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone once the proper configuration profile has been installed from the Apple Developer Center. A 50% battery is always necessary to install the update. Placed on the charger, it needs to be in the range of the iPhone it’s paired to.
The watchOS 4.3 initiated a new feature that was only available for landscape orientation i.e., a Nightstand mode in portrait orientation; it is also added with charging animation once the watch is placed on the charger. The activity data is displayed on the Siri watch face with accurate reports on battery life.
To talk about the release, Apple plans to release it in the spring; until then, it will be limited to developers. There will not be a public beta seed of this watchOS software because there’s no way to revert to an earlier version of watchOS once an update is installed.
