Apple fans from across the globe are eyeing for WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) keynote which will be kicked off today at 10:00 a.m. PDT in San Jose, California. According to some rumors, Apple will bring everything from the major new build of iOS to the new MacBook Pro and improvements in Siri to take on the Amazon Echo/Google Home speaker concept.
The rumors of a Siri-powered smart speaker are reaching such a pitch that it’s likely something is happening, but not sure that it will get revealed at the WWDC event.
Apple will announce the macOS 10.13 and iOS 11, a new version of apple’s operating system for the iPhone and iPad. The voice-based assistant Siri was opened earlier for some developers last years like Uber, Square, and Pinterest.
The event can be the stage for the Cupertino-based technology giant to get hints about iPhone 8. The first iPhone was introduced 10 years back this month, which may lead to changes in the hardware design. There are some substantial changes to the home screen, which has evolved over the years but is still mostly an array of app icons.
Last year the WWDC introduced the watch OS3, which is a major rethink of the software that runs the Apple Watch. This year it may bring updates for health and fitness, notifications, and watch faces. Along with this, Apple may also bring the update for the tvOS.
The iOS users or the fans must be waiting for this event and for the new updates.
