Apple recently launched iPad Air and iPad Mini models, and now the tech giant has released the two models in India today that come with an advanced Retina display. The two devices also have support for Apple Pencil.
The iPad Air and iPad Mini 2019 are mid-range devices powered by Apple’s flagship A12 Bionic chipset with a neural engine. Both the iPads have similar specifications except for display size and compatible accessories. The iPad Air brags a 10.5-inch, IPS retina display, whereas, the iPad Mini has a 7.9-inch laminated IPS retina display.
Both these devices feature WiFi and WiFi + LTE variants, available in silver, space grey, and gold color options. They sport a fingerprint sensor that is embedded under the home button on the front. Both these iPads come in two storage variants – 64GB and 256GB.
The iPad Air is also compatible with Apple Smart keyboard. Imaging is covered by an 8-megapixel lens of an f/2.4 aperture on the back and a 7MP facetime HD camera on the front. However, a flash is not available on the device. For selfies and video calls, there is a 7MP selfie camera on the tablet coupled with a Retina flash.
Storage options are either 64GB or 256GB for both the models. The iPads are available at Rs 55,900 whereas the iPad Mini will cost Rs 45,900 for the base variant.
