A month after Apple released the first version of Apple macOS 10.13.4 High Sierra, it released a new security update for the same today.
Meant to improve the security of macOS, Apple’s release notes have recommended its latest Security Update 2018-001 for all its users. The update addresses two major security vulnerabilities related to Crash Reporter and LinkPresentation.
Both of them can be used to maliciously gain access to a Mac, and the update strives to prevent any malware-related security concerns of its users. This also includes a Safari 11.1 update, which addresses and fixes WebKit vulnerabilities.
Users with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 can receive the Security Update 2018-001 from the Mac App Store or through the Software Update function in the Mac App Store on all compatible Macs.
