ASUS has today announced the release of the world’s thinnest 13.3-inch OLED laptop named Zenbook S 13 OLED. The ASUS’s Zenbook S 13 OLED notebook is a thin and light notebook, only 1 kg in weight and 1cm thick.
To make the laptop stand out, it employs recycled metal and plastic, making it the greenest ASUS Zenbook ever. Additionally, it utilizes a unique manufacturing procedure for the first time to produce the company’s distinctive Plasma Ceramic Aluminum cover.

With a thickness of 10.9mm, which is barely enough for Asus to claim that the laptop is 1cm thin, it is one of the thinnest laptops overall. Putting aside the dubious marketing, this laptop is very small without sacrificing performance. It is also only one kilogram in weight.
It is powered by Intel Core processors from the 13th generation, up to the Core i7-1355U, a powerful processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. You don’t have to accept a 9W processor to get this degree of thinness because it is exactly what you would want in an ultrabook. Additionally, it has a 1TB SSD and up to 32GB of RAM.
Of course, there is an OLED display, and it has 2.8K resolution, 2.8K True Black support, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, so it should look excellent. Along with the Full HD webcam and 3D noise reduction, there are two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, a USB Type-A port, HDMI, and a headphone jack on this Svelte device.
Attaining EPEAT Gold certification and using recycled aluminum and magnesium for the chassis, recycled plastic for the keycaps and speakers, and recyclable paper for the packaging, Asus also put a strong emphasis on sustainability in the design.
Pricing and Availability
ASUS has announced that it will hold a new product launch conference on April 24, and it is expected to release this product. As confirmed by the tech giant, the Zenbook S13 OLED will be available this quarter in the UK for £1,499.99, but US pricing wasn’t mentioned. Thus, stay connected with TechGenyz for more updates.
