ASUS Zenfone 7 series with Snapdragon 865 will launch on August 26

As many countries are declining smart devices from Chinese merchandises, products from other companies like Nokia, ASUS, Samsung, etc. are increasing more rapidly than before. In these circumstances, ASUS has been bringing forth some amazing smart devices including their Zenfones and laptops. The Taiwanese company is going to launch its new ASUS Zenfone 7 series after the worldwide success of its Zenfone 6 lineup.

ASUS shared a very short video on Twitter on August 18, announcing the release of their Zenfone 7 line on August 26, 2020. Many speculations are brimming regarding the upcoming new Zenfone as its predecessor Zenfone 6 was quite successful. Reports have it that the series will include two models – Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro.

ASUS Zenfone 7 series will sport a bigger screen than Zenfone 6. According to the sources, it may not have the same flip camera set up like its predecessor. Instead, the series could have the quad-camera setup which is in trend nowadays.

The series may also come with a single punch-hole display unlike the Zenfone 6. Zenphone 7 could have an IPS LCD display whereas Zenfone 7 Pro may sport an AMOLED display. However, nothing has been confirmed about the display specifications. We need to wait until the launch to see it ourselves.

As for the batteries, both models of the Zenfone 7 series will come with a 5000 mAh battery along with 30W charging. The confirmed specs reveal that Zenfone 7 will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor whereas Zenfone 7 Pro will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor.

Both of the phones will have 16 GB of RAM along with 512 GB memory. Furthermore, the Zenfone series will also support 5G connectivity like most other recent smartphones.

Zenfone 6 which was launched last year priced over INR 50,000. So, we think that Zenfone 7 could have a price around INR 35,000 and the Zenfone 7 Pro may have a price tag starting at INR 40,000. However, prices will surely vary as all of these are speculations based on the circumstances.
