Last year Asus launched ZenFone Pegasus 3, and now the Taiwanese tech giant is planning to launch its successor dubbed Asus ZenFone Pegasus 4A. The new member of the Pegasus family has been leaked online with details regarding pricing, specifications, and features. According to reports, the upcoming smartphone to come with a dual primary camera setup and is expected to be launched in July this year.
This week some render of the device has been posted online, which resembles to be Asus ZenFone Pegasus 4. The smartphone sports a polycarbonate body and a physical home button, under which a fingerprint sensor will be hidden. The device consists of a dual camera setup with a LED flash, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual speakers at the bottom.
According to sources, the ZenFone Pegasus 4A will sport a 5-inch HD display that supports an HD resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. Moreover, it will consist of 3 GB of RAM with on-board storage capacity of 32 GB ROM and to run on Android Nougat. The device is fueled with 4,100mAh battery powered by a MediaTek MT6737V processor.
Now talking about the camera, the upcoming device will sport a 13MP and 8MP rear camera and 8MP camera for taking selfies.
According to leaked reports it is assumed that the ASUS Pegasus 4A will be priced at Yuan 1,799 (~Rs 17,000). Even though it has low specifications, the smartphone’s cost is high due to its rear camera system.
With MTK onboard, it is unlikely to launch within the U.S. because of its incompatibility with LTE bands in the U.S.
