Avengers: Endgame will be one of the launch films featured on the Disney+ streaming platform. The announcement came through the Hotstar India Twitter post.
It is produced by Marvel Studios and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The screenplay for the film was written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film includes a choral cast that includes many of the actors featured in previous MCU films. Avengers: Endgame was presented on April 22, 2019, in Los Angeles, and was distributed in India on April 26, 2019, also in IMAX and 3D formats.
Avengers: Endgame will be available on Disney+ from the launch of the platform, scheduled for November 12 in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands. It is a surprise move by Hotstar, given that it usually takes up to a year for Marvel movies to land on streaming in India.
It may be that the sales of the home video version of the film have reached a peak, allowing the company to include Avengers: Endgame streaming in the catalog of the digital platform among those already available.
Avengers: Endgame, premiered on April 26 with big cheers from Marvel fans, who quickly ran to the halls to enjoy the expected film. The massive crossover was a total success, managing to become the highest-grossing film in history with the US $2,798 billion in the pocket, surpassing the figures of tapes such as Titanic and Avatar. The launch became an event of public stature that left behind in the trends of the networks all those who were not connected with the situation.
Last night, Avengers: Endgame won the People’s choice awards for Best Picture and Best Action Movie. In the first category it beat tapes such as Toy Story 4, Captain Marvel, The Lion King, and Spider-Man: Away from Home; In the second to John Wick 3: Parabellum, X-Men: Dark Phoenix and Godzilla II: The King of Monsters. Robert Downey Jr. got up to take recognition for Best Picture and quickly dedicated it to the memory of Stan Lee, who passed away on November 12 of last year.
