The Chinese tech giant Huawei has been working on developing self-driving automobile technology. However, the company had also announced that it would not launch its own branded car. In other words, the company had decided to collaborate with other automobile companies to manufacture smart cars.
The Polar Fox Alpha S Huawei HI version is a product of a collaboration between Huawei and BAIC, an automobile company. The presale for the car started back in April 2021. Finally, at the Guangzhou International Auto Show, the companies officially unveiled the production version of Polar Fox Alpha S Huawei HI.

A few online resources claim that the car will be the first-ever mass-produced model that is equipped with the Hongmeng OS system and the first mass-produced model that will feature Huawei’s high-end autonomous driving ADS system.
When Huawei first announced the car the company claimed that it will come with a maximum range of 708 km; however, at the conference, the company did not mention the maximum range of the car which may mean that the initial offering still stands.

Moreover, the car comes equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum torque of 655Nm and an acceleration of 3.5s per 100 kilometers.
