In its #NEXTGen 2020 event, BMW has been flaunting its upcoming electric two-wheeler, which, according to BMW, provides “a concrete preview of what a contemporary production vehicle could look like.”
Earlier, BMW Motorrad had revealed a wide range of petrol scooters. Still, now with these new electric sit-on-replacements, Definition CE 04 deserves a special mention in terms of the fusion of a new urban aesthetic and stylistic evolution.
An amalgamation and manifestation of all the dream project initiatives back in 2017, BMW Motorrad, has tried to bring them together in this sleek automated scooter.
This new urban aesthetic and stylistic evolution comes with a single-sided swingarm, spring strut, and tooth belt and appears in matte black against white metallic combo that gives it a specific appearance meant to be suitable for both males and female riders.
To target 12 km per day, the underfloor section comprises slim batteries and the compact drive unit near the rear while allowing exploring newer avenues every time.
The bench design also showers a lot of credit to the ergonomics being a single rider scooter and allowing riders to ride easily. We also get to see a 10.25-inch display meant to serve as an interface between ‘rider’s analog and digital worlds.
