It seems that the BOE has come up with its latest AMOLED display, sure to provide tough competition to Samsung in the display screen department of the domestic mobile phones market.
The sixth generation BOE flexible AMOLED display will affect the market that was being ruled by the Samsung AMOLED display alone for a very long period.
Today BOE held an official ceremony at Chengdu, announcing the sixth generation flexible AMOLED display. Chinese company BOE is domestically first and second in a worldwide production line of Display screens. Critics believe that this AMOLED flexible screen is enough to put an end to the monopoly of the Korean manufacturer Samsung in this department.
Ten companies, including Jingdong, Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo, have already shown interest in the AMOLED flexible display.
BOE has come up with a wide variety of flexible AMOLED screen samples. In the ceremony, there was the usual 18: 9 full screen, as well as a screen similar to that of the iPhone X. There, were “bangs” style alien screens and a thin, paper-like foldable screen as well.
