The Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) is going full throttle, and October 15 is the second day of this IMC. Among various new technologies that have been introduced in the IMC so far, the Congress still keeps delivering something to be in awe of.
The second day of the Indian Mobile Congress kicked off with the introduction of the Indian government-owned technology development center C-DOT which is a font used for the introduction of the home-grown and indigenously developed messaging service, Samvad.
Indian IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad inaugurated the IMC on October 15, 2019. The show is a massive opportunity for the Indian tech companies to showcase their innovation and Congress can serve as the platform which would give them the numerous companies the boost and the exposure that they need.
On an inaugural day, the tech companies shared their vision with the world in how they envision the future and how their technology can change the course of how technology is viewed in this world currently. Minister Ravi Shankar himself announced that technology and communication in this time equal to holding power, and it is an asset that will help any country grow exponentially.

C-DoT Secretary Anshu Prakash, TRAI Chairman Dr. RS Sharma and Huawei CEO Mr. Jay Chen headlined the event. Huawei used this platform to introduce its sub-brand Honor’s latest TV.
The IMC is organized by the Dept of Telecommunications and Cellular Operator Association of India and it is the largest digital technology forum in South Asia. Technologies such as 5G network, smart homes have been introduced at this year’s IMC.
The IMC also acts as the center stage from which people can find out about the future of telecom in India. Apart from highlighting the significance of technology both in India and worldwide, and the kind of power technology wields, many new and interesting startups presented their vision here in the hope for a successful future enriching ad touching the lives of people.
