According to a few reports, the PC version of the popular game “Call of Duty 18: Pioneer” will now support both NVIDIA’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR technology. Call of Duty 18: Pioneer uses WWII as its background, and the storyline of the game centers around the birth of the modern allied special forces.

Activision announced earlier that the game would come in three different modes: campaign mode, multiplayer mode, and zombie mode. Moreover, the gaming company also revealed that the game supports progress sharing across all platforms.

Earlier on November 2, 2021, the official website of Call of Duty announced the system configuration requirements for “Call of Duty 18: Pioneer” on the PC. According to the configuration requirements posted by Activision, the minimum requirement criteria includes a Windows 10 64-bit operation system, a machine running on Intel Core i3-4340, or AMD FX-6300 with a graphics card of GTX 960 or Radeon RX 470.

Video memory requires 2GB; it requires memory of 8GB, and a hard disk capacity of 36GB, only in multiplayer and zombie modes. This game supports a 4K ultra-wide screen, does not support a light pursuit effect, and requires a minimum of GTX 960, as mentioned earlier.

NVIDIA’s DLSS technology is a deep learning super-sampling technology that was first featured on NVIDIA’s RTX 20 series graphics cards. The user of DLSS on RTX 20 enhanced the details of low-resolution images through AI operations.

On the other hand, AMD’s FSR super-resolution technology makes use of advanced edge reconstruction algorithms which analyze and detects edges. FSR reconstructs these edges with higher resolution while also enhancing the texture and improving the definition to increase the frame rate of the picture effect.

“Call of Duty 18: Pioneer” will be launched on the Xbox X/S series, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC on November 5.
