The popular shooter video game franchise, Call of Duty is coming to Android and iOS. Android users can also pre-register for the game in the Google Play Store. According to the game website, the app and any future updates are free.
The latest game has been developed in collaboration with Tencent’s Timi Studio which offers popular games such as Honor of Kings and CrossFire. Activision says gamers should expect “stunning visuals and topography” from the latest mobile game. The new mobile version of the game is created in collaboration with Tencent and Activision which will launch in North America, South America, Europe, and other countries.
Activision also released a short teaser video about gaming filled with intense action. At around the 42-second mark, there is a brief glimpse of helicopters and planes, which could hint that a battle royale mode will be part of the fantastic experience. Though it is not confirmed, it certainly makes sense on a free-to-play game, especially given how well PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite fare on mobile devices, along with titles like Rules of Survival.
Call of Duty’s new mobile game will soon launch in beta this summer across Europe, North America, and South America. To be a part of the experience, you can pre-register for access to the beta now on its official website.
