Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 7 to maintain records of its sales and demand, but the rosy start turn sour. Samsung faced a big incident in September of the first version of Note 7 due to faulty batteries that overheated and exploded. By October Samsung stopped the sales of 2 million devices and the product. Samsung thinks that it was finally able to resolve the issue.

The report revealed by the company suggests that such an incident occurred because of the improper construction of two separate batteries. Samsung Electronics used two different suppliers for the Galaxy Note 7 – Samsung SDI and Amperex Technology Ltd. (ATL). But, it happens that both the manufacturers had defects in their batteries.

According to reports, Samsung has found internal short-circuiting in Galaxy Note 7 batteries due to which phones started heating up and ultimately caught fire. After a month Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S8 smartphone, keeping its best foot with utmost care this time, courtesy of the Note 7 fiasco.
