China Launches Third Batch of Yaogan-30 Remote Sensing Satellites

On December 26 at 3.44 am Beijing Time (7.44 pm Christmas in GMT), China launched remote sensing satellites from Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellites were carried by a Long March-2c carrier rocket.

It was announced from the center that these satellites have entered the preset orbit and the success of the entire launch was confirmed.

The mission is a part of the Yaogan-30 project, as its third batch, and it is also the 260th mission of the rocket family of Long March. The satellites have the purpose of conducting electromagnetic environmental probes and other experiments.
