As an upgrade to the Mi TV 4A launched a few weeks ago, Xiaomi has launched the new Mi TV 4S. It comes with an AI voice assistant, premium metal frame design, WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth remote control, and lots of ports (three HDMI 2.0 ports with ARC, one optical audio input port, one RF cable input for cable TV signals, one ethernet port, two USB ports, and one S-PDIF port) for seamless functionality. It has a 55-inch IPS LCD panel with 4K resolution and HDR compatibility. Its 8-watt audio speakers have DTS and Dolby compatibility.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4S 55-inch price has been determined at CNY 2,999, around Rs. 31,000 in Indian currency, including shipping. Pre-registrations have begun, and sales will begin on April 3, 2018.
It is surprising that the pricing of Xiaomi Mi TV 4S 55 inches is much lower than that of Mi TV 4 55-inch in India. Whether this model is to be launched in India remains to be seen.
