A number of pictures that seem to be from Modern Warfare 2 have surfaced online after being found in Warzone Mobile Alpha test files. RealiityUK, a Twitter user, has started sharing pictures of maps that were discovered in the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile alpha’s map file.

Moreover, a few of these maps look to have been from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II because they include Grand Prix, while the rest are from Call of Duty 2024. The 2024 game currently does not have a name, but it is probably another game in the series in the franchise of historical video games.

The pictures depict several Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer map loading displays, along with the two Treyarch images that appear to be of two different maps named “Stealth” and “Pillage.” Pillage depicts the core of an older building with what appears to be a European appearance, while Stealth appears to be a US military facility with a stealth aircraft.

It was predicted by a fan that the aircraft in the picture is a Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk, which first flew in the 1980s, suggesting that the game may be set around the 1980s or 1990s. Also, it’s likely that Treyarch used the concept as inspiration for a fictitious plane in a modern video game. Although,  the game release is not close, and it might be significantly altered before it is launched or these pictures could be bogus.

Additionally, the images show Fishtown, Sira, and Hydro from the Ground War mode of the next Call of Duty game from Infinity Ward. It’s not strange for Call of Duty games to see some leaks prior to their official announcement, even though it is surprising to begin experiencing major leaks for a Call of Duty game that is apparently two years away from going public.

The data miner’s first Twitter account was the source of the initial disclosure of the pictures. Although, the account was terminated as a result of Activision flooding it with DMCA reports to prevent it from spreading further.
