Today, Weibo announced the official release of ColorOS 5.2.1 on 17 Oppo models. Just some days back on Oct.11 Oppo released the system-level resource scheduling optimization solution; OPPO Hyper Boost acceleration engine and had promised to add the latest ColorOS 5.2.1 system to the technology.
The official announcement confirms that the new upgraded system will be available in 17 Oppo models that will be out in October and gradually through other models of the company.
The hyper boost helps in more improvised experience in terms of performance, power consumption and heat, while adopting a new behavior-aware system scheduling concept, and adding a newly designed Linux task manager to analyze various software scenarios and users.
The new upgrade will bring a fresh new interface, from homepage to app icons, font sizes to background colors. This new visual design endeavors to give its users a more smart and efficient experience.
It will also help in voice assistance faster; you can search for a nearby restaurant or today’s weather from the new personal assistant just by saying “Hey, Google”, and then ask your question and get immediate help.
The first 17 models that are to be upgraded to the new system include; OPPO Find X, R11/R11 Plus/R11s/R11s Plus/A83/A1 that are to be upgraded in November and in December there are R9s/R17/R15/R15 Dream Edition/A5/A79 /A73, there is R9s Plus/A77/A3 that are enlisted to be upgraded in January 2019.
