Vivo has been teasing its upcoming S series smartphone, Vivo S5 for quite a long time and now, the company has confirmed that it will launch its latest product on November 14.
Vivo introduced the S-series only a couple of months ago with the launch of the Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 Pro. Not much about the upcoming smartphone has been revealed other than that in the teaser. The leaks exposed the design of Vivo S5 which will come with a diamond-shaped camera module.
The predecessor Vivo S1 comes with a vertical camera module on the back panel with three rear cameras. It will be interesting to see whether the company opts for a 48-megapixel or a 64-megapixel sensor in its triple-camera setup for the Vivo S5 smartphone. The device is seen to sport a gradient back panel finish, just like the Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 Pro.
While there is no official confirmation yet, reports claim the smartphone is expected to be a mid-range device. Some likely features of Vivo S5 include a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek chipset, up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. Lastly, it will run Android Pie out-of-the-box.
To know about the pricing of the Vivo S5 smartphone we need to wait for the official launch until November 14.
