Corning Incorporated announced today that Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp., Ltd will be the first one to utilize the new Corning Gorilla Glass 6 in their new flagship. Gorilla Glass 6 is very reliable as it survived 15 drops from 1 meter onto rough surfaces. OPPO was also one of the first leading adopters who utilized Gorilla Glass 5 on its broad range of smartphones. OPPO’s Find X and R15 models are protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
