As part of its commitment to enhancing the growth of cloud services, the Finnish multinational telecommunications company Nokia is pleased to announce today that it has been selected by DCspine, a subsidiary of Eurofiber Cloud Infra, to provide its 7220 IXR data center hardware platforms running SR Linux for the firm.

DCspine Implementing Nokia’s 7220 IXR
This solution will improve network operations and scalability through automation while expanding DCspine’s connectivity and cloud offerings. As part of its interconnection platform, which offers connectivity to an increasing number of 80+ data centers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, DCspine will install the 7220 IXR and SR Linux.
By utilizing the open, consumable nature of SR Linux and its NetOps Development Kit, DCspine and Nokia have created a unique network agent to enable the implementation for simple integration into the current network environment (NDK).
Additionally, DCspine will be able to automate service provisioning, obtain better network visibility for service monitoring, and speed up the supply of interconnection and cloud services to its clients, thanks to the model-driven architecture and open APIs of SR Linux.

Speaking on why Nokia was selected, David Jansen, Network Operations Manager at Eurofiber Cloud Infra, said the firm solution would allow them to offer the greatest interconnection services to their consumers.
