After its recent debut at Electronics Entertainment Expo, KOEI TECMO is all set to bring the first consumer playable build of ‘Dead or Alive 6’ to the Evolution Championship Series (Evo), 2018, scheduled to take place inside the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas between 3rd and 4th August.
The title has hitherto won a number of the “Best Fighting Game of E3” awards and has been regarded as “one of the most gorgeous and detailed fighting games yet,” by Tom’s Guide. In the upcoming Evolution Championship Series, the game shall be made playable at KOEI TECMO’s booth on the show floor; and it shall also be showcased on stage in a special “Dead or Alive 6” mini-tournament. Apart from that, gamers will also be able to compete for the official “Dead or Alive 5” Last Round championship for the chance to walk away with a piece of the $6,000 in prize pool money in front of a packed crowd.
“Dead or Alive 6” producer and director, Yohei Shimbori shall be personally present during the weekend to showcase the new game. Additionally, gamers could also indulge in the consumption of unique DOA merchandise that is to be given out during the event, including tote bags awarded to gamers joining the DOA6 mini-tournament, and original DOA6 t-shirts available to players who test out the game at the booth.

Registration has begun on July 5 and shall continue till July 27, and all players will need to register as a participant through Evo separately by July 20 in order to compete.
“Dead or Alive 6” is currently in development for the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System, Xbox One, the all-in-one games, and entertainment system from Microsoft, and digitally on Windows PC via Steam®, and is scheduled to be released in Early 2019.
