The week of PlayStation 5 reveal is nearly here. It is the event that a lot of people have been waiting eagerly for. The new launch brings with it the promise of new games, or perhaps new adventures for the old ones.
The game developers are on a roll when it comes to teasing the upcoming event up in bits and pieces, keeping everyone at the edges of their seats. While a lot of game teasers have been announced what stole everyone’s attention particularly for the PS 5 is that perhaps the game developers are bringing an old, dormant back to life.
The writer of the old game Dead Space Anthony Johnston’s suggestive tweet only fueled the fire.
The Dead Space series has been dormant since 2013, and the developers stopped working on its update. It might even have slipped everyone’s mind. But from a series of tweets from the writer of the game itself, it may suggest otherwise. The sci-fi survival horror game might be getting a new makeover for the PS 5.
Johnston’s tweet reads, “As some of you know, I’ve been working on a big videogame for almost 2 years now. In totally unrelated news, you should all watch the PS5 launch event on Thursday.” He further revealed that the character a user plays in this game always undergoes a difficult time.
The first tweet indicates that Johnston himself is related to the launch event, and the second tweet reply may indicate directly to the old game Dead Space.
On the other hand, Sony has long been rumored to be working on a new Silent Hill, but publisher Konami has vehemently denied that any new game in the pipeline. Johnston is famous for being the author of numerous survival horror games. Eventually, we have to wait for the PlayStation 5 launch event.
