Apple has been offering a free year of Apple TV Plus with the purchase of a new or refurbished iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod Touch and now Disney Plus is getting in on the giveaway action.
Launching today you’ll be able to stream Disney’s films, including the Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar franchises along with Disney’s original shows and movies in the works. The Mandalorian Star Wars spinoff and another with Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the younger Obi-Wan Kenobe are in development now.
Disney Plus is almost here, but in order to watch it on your TV, phone or tablet, you’re going to need an app where you can enjoy The Lion King, to all-new Originals, there’s something exciting for the audience. You’ll also get access to new movies, complete TV series, shorts, and documentaries. In total, Disney will have more than 7,500 TV shows and movies available on the service.
For the new subscribers, it will cost you $7 a month or $70 a year to subscribe. Verizon offers five eligible unlimited wireless plans, ranging in price from $35 per line to $90 for a single line. The service debuts today in the United States; Disney+ launches in the United Kingdom and large parts of Europe in March 2020.
