In the crowded place of messaging apps, Disney has added their own contribution. The company has unveiled a brand new Disney Mix app specially designed for kids, tween, and their families. Although there is a number of apps there, Disney Mix is a social messaging app that lets kids chat, share their ideas, and play games.
Kids can get creative and innovative and can express themselves using some Pixar characters like Flash from Zootopia, Hank from Finding Dory, Jenny from Adventures in Babysitting, Danny from Future-Worm, and many more. People can also add some Disney channels like Disney XD and Disney Movies to their friend list and can receive recent photos and videos from them.
“Messaging has become a phenomenon around the world, and yet we’ve noticed that there aren’t any messengers designed with kids in mind. Disney has more than a decade of experience in online communities for kids from Club Penguin and our other virtual worlds, and so we know what both kids and their parents want.”
The app comes with a custom 3D avatar that can be customized in many ways. Kids and their families can chat with friends, send funny stickers, play games and make funny memes with Disney Mix.
Since security is a major concern, Disney has used the experience of the Club Penguin team to invest in new tools and educational resources. The company listed out Privacy Policy, Terms and Use, and Children’s Privacy Policy on its website. Disney Mix is available both on iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.
