Yesterday was an exciting moment for most Elon Musk-owned X users as the platform now allows blue subscribers to hide their blue checkmarks. This comes after the micro-blogging platform rebranded from Twitter to X. This allows paid users to access exclusive features without drawing too much attention.
Moving forward to surprise the users again. Elon Musk has today confirmed the rolling out of a new feature that lets verified users download videos on X if the content creator gives permission. The feature comes less than 24 hours after the hiding blue checkmark.
Video download has been a much-anticipated feature by most users. However, following the Twitter rebranding to X, Elon Musk has brought it easy for only verified users. This feature of downloading videos on X is now another advantage for the X Blue members who have access to a lot of fascinating features already.
How To Download Videos on X as Verified Users
To download videos on X is very simple. But the most important thing is you must be a verified user – paid $8 monthly.
Having done that, the next step is to look for the video you want to download and tap to open it in full-screen mode.
Afterward, look for the “…” icon on the upper right corner of the video player and tap the “…” icon to reveal the download option.
And finally, once the content creator permits you to download, the video will start downloading to your device.
However, owing to this long process, in another tweet, Elon Musk revealed that an upcoming upgrade would simplify the process by just allowing users to download videos on X by merely tapping and holding, much like saving pictures.
