What is 5G?
It is a new global wireless computer network just like the existing 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G but is more advanced than them.
This network is designed differently to connect everyone with everything and keeping it secure via routerlogin.one, including machines, objects, etc. It will deliver higher data speeds and get your work done in seconds.
Traceback to the time when there were only newspapers, radios, telegraphs available as the only means of mass media. They did help a lot in transmitting information, but it was limited to a particular area. Also, to get this piece of information, people had to travel long distances or to someone’s house at a specific time and day.
With the introduction to the internet, these problems came to an end, and it became the biggest information-sharing platform that eventually brought people together, increased the interaction between them, and disseminated vast information, which could be accessed anywhere and anytime irrespective of their geographical location.
How fast is 5G?
It is designed to deliver a downlink peak data rate of 20GB/s on IMT-2020 requirements. The flagship of the Qualcomm technologies’ 5G solution, the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55, and Snapdragon X60 Modem-RF Systems, are specially designed to deliver up to 7.5GB/s. The data speed remains the same, even if you are continually moving from one place to another.
5G has already made its way into 30+ countries, and the numbers are still growing.
To make something work, you need to satisfy the basic needs first, and in our case, to get the best out of 5G, we need to use the best supporting material for it, which are mobile phones and mobile networks.
Here is a list of mobile phones which support 5G:
- Samsung Galaxy S20
- One Plus 8 pro
- Samsung Galaxy A90 5G
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G
- Oppo Reno 5G
Just like coffee is incomplete without coffee powder. Similarly, a handset is incomplete without a network connection.
The mobile networks supporting 5G are:
- AT & T
- Sprint and T-Mobile
- Verizon
After fulfilling the requirements, it is time that we move on to the central part, which is to download a 1GB file in only 3 seconds using our brand new network.
On average, the least efficient connection spends around 1.1GB data for downloading a file of 1GB, and the time taken due to the slow processing is more. By using a 5G connection, you get enhanced speed, and the time involved is also less.
How to download a file?
For Computers:
- First, choose your favorite browser, and enter the webpage from where you want to get your file downloaded.
- Save the file by either clicking on the download link or right click on the file and Save As.
- A prompt box will appear asking you where to save the file, click on the Save option.
- When the download finishes, you will see it at the bottom of your window.
For Android:
- Open on the browser (the one you feel comfortable in using)
- Go to the webpage from where you want to get your file downloaded.
- Click and hold on the file you want to download and then click on download link or download image.
- To access the data that you have downloaded, open the download app, and search for your data there.
Due to the excellent network speed and large bandwidth provided by 5g, your file, which is 1GB, will quickly be downloaded in 3 seconds, hence saving your precious time and lessening your efforts.
The main advantage which you avail by using 5G is that due to its enhanced speed and wide coverage area, you get an enormous amount of remote execution and also a good number of connected devices.
This improved network will have a strong influence on people working even in the remote corners of the world as they can get good access to the internet and can complete their work in a hassle-free manner.
