Social Media network Facebook yesterday launched a video calling feature in Messenger. From now Messenger users can talk to their near and dear ones through face-to-face video conversation with just one tap.
Currently, 600 million people worldwide are using Facebook Messenger and can talk to their friends through voice calling service. Those who think voice calls are not enough now can have real-time face-to-face communication.
Talking to your friends via Messenger video calling service is very easy- you have to just simply choose the video icon in the top right corner of the chat screen, and it will start a video call within an existing Messenger conversation.
The new feature from Facebook is available for iOS and Android users in Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Laos, Lithuania, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, the UK, the US, and Uruguay. In a press release, the company announced they’d be launching the service to other regions and locales over the coming months.
In the latest version of Messenger, users can send money to friends. The company also announced launching the Messenger Platform and introducing Businesses on Messenger very soon.
