Pokémon Go became a fever when it was released in 2016. Users around the world left their homes to enjoy the game and interact with the environment, with a mixture of nostalgia and expectation for being a new type of game. The trend did not last for long, with complaints about the lack of actual battles not being released at the right moment (now included), but the game won a good audience that remained true to the title.
And now, Niantic has announced the first Southern Hemisphere Pokémon GO Safari Zone, which details that the event will be held in Brazil, between January 25 and 27, in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, the city of Porto Alegre. The duration has already been confirmed: from 10 am to 6 pm Brazilian time, on the shore of Lake Guaíba, in the Marine Park of Brazil.
Niantic also mentioned which Pokémon will appear most frequently in the Zone: Unown, Relicanth, Bagon, Psyduck, Chimchar, Piplup and Turtwig. For those who will not be able to attend the event, Niantic is expected to hold more of these events around the world in different countries, although no information about that is revealed yet.
