Throughout the last hours, several media have echoed the first image – supposedly real starring Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, took for granted the information from a Chinese source, which was posted on Weibo. However, the photograph that heads this article is not “real” but is extracted from a video created by a well-known designer of smartphones and conceptual devices.

In fact, the video from which the image has been extracted is not new, far from it. It was last December 23 when ConceptCreator uploaded its latest creation to its YouTube channel showing the supposed design of the next South Korean telephone based on the reports known so far.

The ‘real’ image of the Samsung Galaxy S9 is a concept

This morning, new clues about the Galaxy S9 came to light through images that showed the supposed front panel of the device. Only a few hours later, another photograph with suspiciously high resolution and clarity appeared to confirm even more details about this duo of South Korean smartphones, two of the most anticipated of 2018.

But it seems that we will have to wait a little longer until we see the first legitimate image of Samsung’s new phone. The image on these lines is nothing more than a render – quite successful, of course, which, as its creator points out, is based on different reports and captured in the video below – in 2:13 minutes you can see the image we are talking about.

The truth is that, according to the clues that have emerged over the weeks, everything points to the physical appearance of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be in effect, traced to the one proposed by the creator of the video. Even so, the image that has been viral after only a few hours is still a slightly modified version of ConceptCreator renders.
