Fortnite 7.30 update patch introduces a bunch of new features to the game, which will be seen in Fortnite Season 7. The newest addition is the new snowman-shaped Chiller Grenade-attack your opponent with the Chiller Grenade and sees them react as though they are on ice for seven seconds. This feature is going to be a fairly regular item in the game.
Another very significant change is that the v7.30 update has added mobile controller support. Connecting Bluetooth controllers to mobile devices will enable players to experience improved control and more fluidity.
Alongside bug fixes and quality-of-life updates, the new update also includes a limited-time mode called Solid Gold. Patch 7.30 also replaces the standard SMG with the suppressed version.
Moreover, Epic has continued Fortnite’s merry-go-round of weapon removals by vaulting the Bolt-action Sniper Rifle, Burst Rifle, and Heavy Shotgun.
With only 2 weeks remaining for Fortnite Season 7, we can hardly wait to see how the season ends, what with the Ice King’s troops being called back home. It remains to be seen what the game is planning to do with the game’s not-yet-revealed snowboard item and the chained-up prisoner slowly being revealed in Polar Peak’s dungeon.
