Fossil added a new series to the Google Wear OS smartwatch family. The company’s latest smartwatch, Fossil Sport, is perhaps its most exciting launch in recent time which adds Qualcomm’s newest 3100 wearable chip for what could mean longer battery life.
While there is still lack of smartphone manufacturers working with Wear OS, Fossil is still looking forward to churning out Wear OS watches left and right. The wearable, called the Sports Smartwatch, comes in six different color variants; gray, pink, red, blue, green, and black in both 41mm and 43mm sizes. There’s also a wide range of silicone straps (28 in total) that are transposable and water-resistant.
The new wearable seems to be the lightest Wear OS watch and it has lots of extras. There’s NFC for Google Pay, GPS, 5 ATM water resistance, a heart-rate monitor and an altimeter. It comes with standard 18mm or 22mm watch straps and the watch itself comes in 41mm and 43mm sizes.
Finally, it will come with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 390 resolution. The ones interested can buy the Fossil Sport right now from Fossil.com for $255, or from Fossil retail stores beginning Monday, November 12 available in two sizes and six different color options.
