Yesterday marked another landmark in the mobile tech sphere as the world witnessed the launch of the next-generation smartphones – the Samsung Galaxy S23 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. The series includes S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra.
Among the series, the Samsung S23 Ultra tops the show as it has fully upgraded imaging capabilities, and has attracted much attention. Now, the device is seen as the new Android King featuring 200 megapixels.
The New Android King With 200 megapixels
With 200 megapixels, the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra stands out as the new Android king. For the first time, Galaxy’s primary camera is outfitted with a Samsung HP2 sensor, measuring 1/1.3 inches and supporting OIS optical image stabilization.
However, officials from Samsung claim that this sensor can be shifted to a 16-in-1 output mode in low light and produce 12-megapixel images, allowing for improved night scene photography.
The ultra-wide-angle lens has a 12-megapixel Sony IMX564 sensor, while the triple portrait telephoto lens has a 10-megapixel Sony IMX754 sensor that enables OIS optical image stabilization and a 10-megapixel Sony IMX754 sensor that supports 10x optical zoom.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Full Specs
The 6.8-inch OLED micro-curved screen on the Samsung Galaxy S23 offers a high refresh rate of 120Hz, LTPO dynamic refresh rate adjustment of 1-120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It has a resolution of 3088×1440. The screen’s local maximum brightness can reach 1750nits.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s performance has also been completely improved. For the first time, it has a second-generation Snapdragon 8 that has been improved. The Cortex-X3 super-primary core’s frequency has been boosted to 3.36GHz, and LPDDR5X RAM and UFS4.0 ROM are included.
A 5000mAh high-capacity internal battery powers the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which also supports 10W wireless charging and 45W cable fast charging. The entire machine weighs 234g and has an 8.9mm thickness.

In terms of pricing, the 8GB+256GB version goes on sale for ¥9499, while the 12GB+256GB version is priced at ¥10199; the 12GB+512GB version is ¥11199, and the 12GB+1TB, which top the version goes for ¥13199.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 comes in four colors Youye Green, Youyuan Black, Youwu Purple, and Yourou White, as well as 4 Samsung Mall exclusive colors of Fresh Lime Green, Lake Lantau Blue, Yuanshan Gray, and Rose Red. The device is now available on platforms such as Samsung Mall and Jingdong Mall.
