Recounting its activities during the E3, Xbox has updated a blog post to inform its players of Xbox Game Pass’s introduction to PC (Beta), and it’s ushering of over a hundred new games to the Xbox Game Pass library across consoles as well as PC.
At E3, it was announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate shall include Xbox Game Pass for PC, without a shift in price, allowing players to avail Ultimate for $1 during the first month and play over hundred PC games with the new Xbox (Beta) app for Windows 10. Xbox Game Pass has also provided a link to download the installer that shall ensure that the PC is compatible and on the latest version of Windows 10 before installing the new Xbox (Beta) app.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will also give members access to Gears 5 Ultimate Edition, including benefits like the Ultimate Edition Character Pack, 30 Days of Boost, and the ability to play four days earlier than everyone else. All Xbox Game Pass members will be given an exclusive hall pass, making them the first to be able to avail Gears 5, the entire Gears of War anthology, via the July tech test.
During E3, State of Decay 2 got its biggest expansion yet in the form of Heartland. The new expansion is available to all Xbox Game Pass members for free.
Revisiting old news, Xbox states that all Xbox Game Pass members are entitled to receive exclusive member discounts, including getting 20% off on games present in the library, and up to 10% off on related add-ons and consumables, like the fresh Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions.
For the next few weeks, Xbox Game Pass has lined up games like Resident Evil: Revelations (Xbox Game Pass for Console, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) and Rare Replay (Xbox Game Pass for Console, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) to be ushered in on June 20th, and Torment: Tides of Numenera (Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) and Goat Simulator (Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox Game Pass for Console, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) to be launched on June 27th.
Among the games leaving Xbox Game Pass for the console to make space for the latest launches, one shall find Next Up Hero (June 27), Dead Island Definitive Edition (June 30), Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition (June 30), Shadow Complex Remastered (June 30), Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (June 30), and Zombie Army Trilogy (June 30)
