Google has a new update for Gboard on iPhone with some add-on features like Google Doodles, new emojis, voice typing, and also the support of 15 additional languages.
Google Doodles is an animation that privileges holidays, anniversaries, or notable people. When Doodle goes live, the “G” button starts animating which indicates there is something new in it. The “G” button is placed on the top left of the keyboard screen.
Gboard supports all prior emojis from iOS 10, so users can search and send all prior emojis from iOS 10. Gboard additional languages include Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Catalan, Hungarian, Malay, Russian, Latin American Spanish, and Turkish. Users can access these languages from the Gboard app by choosing “Languages” > “Add Languages” from it.
In voice typing, the user can dictate messages instead of typing them. But for new text, users need to hold the mic button on the space bar and start talking.
Users can download Gboard’s latest version 1.3.0 for iPhone from App Store.
