Hoyoverse, the company behind Genshin Impact, recently published a teaser video including fresh details on the impending Sumeru region. The Genshin Impact 3.0 teaser takes a deeper look into the new Sumeru region while also showcasing a number of new characters Alhaitham, Nilou, Nahida, Kusanali, Dehya, and Cyno that will arrive with the upcoming update.
Genshin Impact 3.0 teaser preview
We now have the confirmation for several characters, despite the fact that they had previously been speculated about or had appeared in a few of the latest Genshin Impact 3.0 leaks. Sumeru is a place of waterways, rain forests, and dunes with a hint of ancient Egyptian influence.
More information on the Genshin Impact 3.0 Sumeru region
Sumeru will have both woodland and desert regions, as was noted previously in a prior teaser. A new look at the center city area where the populace congregates, complete with market booths, a riverfront, and a sizable structure built around a tree, is seen in the recent video. After Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma, Sumeru is the next significant Teyvat location that gamers will have the freedom to experience.
It seems that the land also has some mysteries buried under the sand. We’ll face mutant animals and robotic-looking devices in the desert temples. Players will have to wait to find out what the devs mean when they make the vague suggestion that the desert people utilize some unidentified deterrent when they’re in trouble.
Creatures and locations hint
There have also been hints of new monsters and creatures, as well as dungeon-like locations. The player will come up against a new army in Sumeru known as the Eremites. They aren’t a member of the country’s armed forces; instead, they are portrayed as mercenary immigrants from a long-gone desert culture.
Few more Sumeru characters confirmed
The teaser features Alhaitham, Cyno, Dehya, Kusanali, Nahida, Nilou, and Tighnari. According to the archon sculptures shown in the earlier Sumeru trailer, it is assumed that the diminutive Nahida represents the Dendro archon. It’s interesting to note that Cyno was initially hinted to in a mythology film that was made available during Genshin’s debut about two years ago.
