Genshin Impact update 2.7 has been delayed due to the lockdown situation in Shanghai, where the developers of Hoyoverse are headquartered, but that doesn’t mean that the game comes to a standstill. The devs are trying to keep the players busy and happy with more content leading up to the delayed but much-awaited update.
Along with the Genshin Impact Spices from the West event, which will bring some new gameplay features for the players, Hoyoverse has decided to extend the existing banners of the game and introduce new events. It is the first time that there is a third phase of a version, which is 2.6 in this case, and players have been able to enjoy extended rewards for Phase 3.
In spite of the hiatus in updates, the devs are continuing with events of the game, such as the Genshin Impact Spices from the West event which was initially a part of the 2.6 updates. As the maintenance of the Serenitea Pot was not completed in time, the event had been postponed. The ongoing maintenance of Serenitea Pot has lasted for a month, but players have been compensated every week with 5000 Realm Currency which they can collect in their inbox.
However, the event will continue without the Serenitea Pot, as it will be available from 14th May to 7th June. Every Traveler with an Adventure Rank of over 20 will be able to access and participate in this event, where they will have to interact with an NPC researcher from the Dendro Nation Sumeru.
As a reward for completing the event, Travelers will obtain rewards such as Primogems and Hero’s Wit among others, making it an event that players will definitely not want to miss.
