The official launch of Goat Simulator in 2014 resulted in an unforeseen success and a much larger player base than assumed. As a result, the game’s direct sequel was announced in early June. Coffee Stain studios recently revealed the official launch date for Goat Simulator 3 and a special edition with a trailer.
Goat Simulator consequently received average reviews across the board but persisted in being well-liked by fans, selling more than 2.5 million units in its first year. Despite being widely played, the game was criticized when it first came out for experiencing bugs that made the game unplayable and generally having glitchy gameplay.
