Finally, a release date for God of War Ragnarok has been confirmed. Sony recently announced that Ragnarok will be launched for PS4 and PS5 in November this year.
On November 9, 2022, God of War: Ragnarok will launch on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The release date was made public in a short video and showed Kratos, the main character of the game, battling a horde of terrifying enemies until his young son Atreus showed up carrying a bow. The video ends with the two becoming closer as they look up at a tall, wolf-like creature.
Although the CGI trailer does not accurately depict gameplay, the news of the official release must be a good sight for gamers who are eagerly anticipating the game given the speculations of postponement. It’s been disclosed that father and son will visit new worlds in the future game, and it will be intriguing to see what kinds of novel opponent species will be there in Ragnarok.
The incredible God of War video game from 2018 serves as a gentle relaunch of the Playstation’s most well-known franchise, and God of War Ragnarok is the followup to that game. The trailer depicts Kratos and Atreus engaging in combat with a variety of enemies before engaging in combat with what looks to be Fenrir while speaking about how they are not the only ones.
With the help of his son Atreus, Kratos climbed to the highest mountain in the Nordic Realm years later after the death of his wife, encountering both allies and enemies along the way. Sony revealed a few more details about the game in their recent blog post, including the pre-register date that will start on July 15, 2022, at 10:00 am ET.
The whole game for either the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 is included in the God of War Ragnarök Standard Edition. Players may upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version of God of War Ragnarök for $10 USD if they purchase the regular edition of the PlayStation 4.
