Google Chrome finally received it’s updated version 85.0.4183.25 for Dev Channel calling attention to bug fixes, security updates and feature enhancements.
The features can be identified by switching to better software channels. Additional features include a button in the PDF toolbar for highlighting text, undoing actions in Collections, reordering extension icons, importing cookies from Internet Explorer, Intensive Wake up reminders, developing a Kiosk Mode to close the browser when unattended.
Bug fixing includes improving the IE mode, sign into the browser, printing PDF, sharing video over Microsoft Teams calls and pasting content into a text note, all of which had been earlier crashing the browser.
Despite the update that took place yesterday, it seems that the Welcome Page still requires improvement. However, the update points out new issues that users might face, such as disruption while watching a video in fullscreen mode or adblocking extensions, causing playback errors on YouTube.
Other unresolved problems include audio quality, failing to load Gmail due to un-updated Kaspersky Internet Suite. The forum has made itself open for users to address issues for Dev Tools to trace down better solutions.
